The Herne Hill Christmas Fair will celebrate the reopening of Herne Hill after the flood. It takes place on Saturday, 14 December from 11am till 5pm and will be a great chance to support the hard hit local businesses. There will be gifts, a vintage and arts and crafts market, a non-traditional Santa’s grotto, plus children’s entertainers, local bands and carols.
The Carol Sing-a- Long at St Barnabas Church is on Sunday, 15 December between 3.30pm and 5.00pm. This is a new event with mulled wine and mince pies to sustain the singers whilst they reprise all the old favourites and also plenty of time to mix and chat. You are invited to come along with your children, friends or grandchildren and there will be a collection for Shelter with Barclays Bank agreeing to match donations up to a maximum of £750.
